Pieter van den Hoogenband swimming stadium
The 50-metre competition, the 25-metre diving pool and the four-lane training pool can be found in the Pieter van den Hoogenband swimming stadium which is a part of the National Swimming Centre Tongelreep. These pools are great for training and competition. The four-lane training pool is even equipped with a so-called Vision Training System. With twelve cameras this system makes comprehensive analyses of swimmers. This is unique in Europe. The diving pool is 25 metres wide and specially equiped for diving and synchronized swimming. The diving pool has a platform and adjustable floor. The maximum depth of the pool is 5 metres. The Pieter van den Hoogenband swimming stadium features three thousand seats and is a beautiful venue for events.
