I am Robert and I am one of the volunteers in the organising team of the Eindhoven Diving Cup, because I think it is a great event. I came into contact with diving through my children. A few years ago I started volunteering and one thing led to another. I do this voluntary work with love and pleasure and I am a real organiser.
There is nothing I enjoy more than walking into the office of a potential supplier or sponsor and discussing what they can do for the Eindhoven Diving Cup. I also really enjoy the international nature of the event. My English and German are quite reasonable and with hands and feet I get quite a long way.
In 2025, my eldest son competed in the competition for the first time and as long as the youngest is not yet allowed to compete, he likes to help as a medal boy. My wife also helps as a volunteer, so in this way the EDC has become a real family outing. I hope to do this for many years to come.
