EDC is like a day out with the family!

I have been happy to help as a volunteer at this super fun and beautiful event for a number of years now.

When you need a plaster or a bandage, I’ll be there for you. I have been the first aid help of the EDC for about seven years. One year, when they were short on people, I started supervising the floor, after my mother had asked me. I ended up in a warm bath, both literally and figuratively, as there was such a great team. Absolutely everything had been thought of, it was so well organized.

In the end it really became a day out with the family. My mother in the secretary, my father as floor supervisor and judge, and my brother as participant, judge and coach. Every year we, as a family, really looked forward to being able to help full days at the EDC.

This would be my first year as an assistant hospitality manager. Unfortunately, Corona has thrown a spanner in the works, but I can promise you I will definitely be there in 2022! You too? Hopefully we can make it a great event with many participants from different countries.
